Dorcas Afolayan

I am an educator, counsellor, and educational psychologist with over eight years of classroom teaching experience and more than four years of online tutoring experience. Holding a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Psychology and School Counselling, I have worked with learners across primary, secondary, and virtual learning environments.

My experience includes supporting pupils following the UK curriculum, designing personalised learning plans, preparing learners for SATs and entrance examinations, and helping students build confidence, motivation, and effective study habits. Drawing on my background in counselling and educational psychology, I adopt a learner-centred approach that considers both academic achievement and emotional well-being. I am passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that enable students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
